Nicki Minaj DID NOT Sell More Than Lauryn Hil

I Fuck with Nicki and her album was pretty dope BUT people think she did better #'s than the GREAT Lauryn Hill. "Pink Friday" album sold a little over 375,000 during the first week, making it the SECOND highest debut week in the history of a female rap artist. The last female to sell this big was Lauryn Hill with “The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill” which sold 422,000 units during its first week (Which ended up going 8x Platinum). I thought she went Diamond which is 10 million sold Can anyone clarify this for me?? leave it in the comment box below.

Nicki Minaj broke the record because Lauryn Hill’s album wasn’t under the Rap/Hip-Hop genre. Minaj took Missy Elliot’s spot, who previously held the title for highest selling in the Rap/Hip-Hop genre, selling over 200,000 her first week, making the Young Money artist the highest selling female in rap history.
